AI that runs the business, so owners don’t have to

We fine-tune open-source models for each kind of small business, then build the agents that answer, quote, book and bill on top of them. Every business we serve makes the next one in its trade cheaper to run.

Our first product

Pupit

Built for the operator who gets every new tool handed to them. Paste any AI tutorial. Pupit works out what you already know, teaches you what’s missing, and builds the setup with you. Something Labs adds the fine-tuned models and agents underneath, so those setups can run on their own.

Training pipeline

Your tasks and corrections flow back into your own model, so it keeps getting better at running your business. It’s never pooled with anyone else’s.

The agents learn from your business so they can run it your way. That learning stays with you.

AI should lift every entrepreneur, not just the ones who can already afford it

Sustainable

Small, focused models need a fraction of the compute of giant general ones. Less energy, less waste, and costs that stay low as a business grows.

Equitable

Priced for the independent owner, not the enterprise. The contractor, the salon and the corner bakery get the same leverage as the big players.

Open

Built on open-source foundations, with our router free to use. Your model gets better the more you use it.

Frequently asked questions

What is Something Labs?

An AI company that fine-tunes open-source models for one kind of business at a time and builds the agents that run on them. The end goal is a small business that runs itself.

What is Pupit?

Our first product, live at pupit.ai. Paste any AI tutorial and Pupit teaches you what you’re missing and builds the setup with you.

Why smaller models?

They need far less compute, so they cost less to run and use less energy. That is what makes them affordable for independent owners.

What is Somthingrouter?

Our open-source, OpenAI-compatible gateway. It routes each request between our fine-tuned models and paid providers, with spend caps and failover. The router is free; hosted routing and our fine-tuned models are paid.

Does my data train models for other businesses?

No. Your data only improves your own model, and it’s never pooled with other businesses’ data.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export everything we hold about your business at any time.
